Happy Trails Dog Service is located in Roncesvalles Village, a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood in the west end of Toronto.

My core motivation for Happy Trails is quite simple: I love dogs. I also love exploring.
When I started this journey, I thought, "why not blend the two?" I merged these two passions, and Happy Trails philosophy was developed!

My lab Frida, a natural explorer, has admittedly been a major influence in Happy Trails. She is wise beyond measure; her joy and love are clear and unfettered. We love and respect each other.

Dogs who share our life are offered the same regard and affection; we are generous in spirit and always welcoming!

More and more, families are needing daily care and boarding for their beloved canine children. We truly love all the pups with us for a day or for extended stays. Our lab, Frida, and I adore sharing our daily forest and trail adventures. Every day, dogs in our homecare or home boarding enjoy the thrill of the trail (twice daily and all out of town).

Happy Trails is an old-fashioned service. Our pups become part of our extended family, and the quality of our care reflect this bond.

You took her on hikes every single day, with the other dogs and your lovely Frida - the genuine love and care you gave endlessly to her, the food, the safe, warm and accepting home environment you provided, and awesome photos and heart warming updates you sent on a regular basis, made Sadie's time with you being boarded seem much more like a holiday at a luxury canine retreat!

• I've been meaning to tell you how much our puggies have changed since walking with you. Over the  holidays we were visiting a lot of different households where, in the past, the puggles were not necessarily praised for their manners and calm behaviours! But this year... what a difference!!! They're so much more relaxed and happy, Chris and I are overjoyed!! I'm so grateful you came into our lives!    

 

• Your approach to walking has been such a great fit for us, and every time I think of you, I'm just very glad to have found you! Thank you again for taking on Morty and Sugar these last two weeks.  We were worried that we wouldn't be able to find someone ... and then we ended up with a walker who is so much more than just a 'walker.'   

 

• Wow, you actually took Juno for two walks today! I just paid you for one: she's a really lucky dog. Thanks for giving Juno such a fabulous day. This treatment is really beyond what we all deserve! She looks so happy. 

 

• We have had the most incredible trip imaginable. And a big part of our enjoyment was because we never worried about Toby thanks to you! We are so thrilled to hear that it went so well and that you, Caroline and Frida took him in like he was a part of the family. We are so grateful to have you in our lives and Toby's! We can't thank you enough, it means so much knowing that Toby has been so well cared for :)

 

• Hi Janice,I have never seen Juno so tired as after his first day at daycare at Camp Janice! It was a great success. Rick said she almost jumped out of the car when she saw your house this morning, she was so excited!
  
  
• She is such a lucky girl. We both are. I can't imagine her ever being able to stay home alone for the whole day. She's really come to depend on you and your pack. Her attitude and personality were so different when you were on vacation. She really needs that time with you and the other dogs out of the house to blow off steam. Thank you!
